Winsford Summer Fair 5th - 8th Aug - Where it all began

This drawing has an emotional collection to the artist Steve. At the age of 11 Steve began working on a travelling Fun Fair on this ground on side stalls owned by James and Dolly Smith. His art really took off here and this start influenced him into creating 11 Winsford Festivals, 1 German Style Festival, 8 Salt Fairs and many others. The fair had not visited this site for almost 35 years so it was an honour for him to draw this one. Fairground presented by Steve's lifelong friend -Fairground Lessee Harry Sharland.
